The SEAWM 2023 is a continuation of Asian Women Mathematicians Forum (AWMF) 2016 in Bali-Indonesia 29 July 2016. This activity also intended for Celebrating Women in Mathematics on May 12 as a tribute of the Birthday of Maryam Mirzakhani, the first woman who achieved the Fields Medal.
